SABELEC WOUND HEALING is an electrical microstimulation device that provides targeted treatment for painful and difficult-to-heal wounds, such as leg ulcers; diabetic foot ulcers; pressure, moisture and friction ulcers (dependency-related injuries); and chronic wounds.
A single device delivers self-adaptive electrical stimulation throughout the treatment until complete wound healing, with applications from 6 to 19 hours per day. The microelectricity generated is below the threshold of sensation, meaning that patients do not feel it. This form of microelectricity mimics the bioelectricity generated in the body at the cellular level, and stimulates physiology and cell growth.
